We hope you'll join us in 2018 on our monthly club rides. Thanks again to Diane for coordinating these rides for us!

 

You MUST bring a current negative coggins to each and every trail ride. Helmets are required for all USTR mounted events - NO exceptions.

Our first USTR monthly trail ride Is fast approaching

The February ride is scheduled for this Saturday Saturday February 24th
Rain Date: Sunday, Feb. 25th.
It is going to be spring like weather with temps in the mid 60s.
February’s trail ride will be along the C&O canal, starting at Point of Rocks, MD in the C&O canal parking lot (over the railroad tracks and wood bridge into the boat trailer parking area.
We will ride out at 11AM.
Please meet in the C&O parking lot at 10:30 to be checked in with Diane Connolly.
You MUST have a negative coggins with you!
You MUST have paid your 2018 dues in order to join the group on the ride. IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID YET, Bring your membership form and signed waiver to the ride and I will collect them so you can participate. (Of course don't forget your check to go with the forms)
There will be two groups. Walk trot, and a walk only. I will lead one group and Michele Hart will lead the other. They will go out in opposite directions.
Directions:
(From Rt. 15 turn onto Rt 28 at Point of Rocks.
Take the second right onto Monroe St. Proceed to the end of paved rd. and turn right onto Commerce Rd gravel, go about 100 ft and turn left, over railroad tracks and into the C&O parking lot. Proceed to lower parking lot area with large boat trailer parking. We will stay at the bridge end of the lot to leave room for boat trailers)
IF you are concerned about coming over the bridge, you can park in the commuter parking area, and saddle you horse and come over the bridge on foot.
